Top 20 Mountain of Nepal

1. Everest

Everest is not only the highest mountain in Nepal but it is the highest mountain in the world also. The name Everest is named by the geographer Geore Everest in the 19th century. It lies on the border of Nepal and Tibet but the pick of the mountain lies in nepal. It is measured 8850. It is one of the scared and advanture dream of all mountain climber and ignoring all the dengers and high costs many people try to climb mountain every year.

2. Kangchenjunga

This is the third highest mountain in the world and second in the Nepal. Some part of the mountain lies in Sikkim, India. It's hight is 8,586 that is 28169 feet and 8586 meters. This mountain has 5 picks represents as the 5 repositories of god named gold, silver, gems, grain and holy book. Among 5 picks. Before 1982 Kangchenjunga was supposed to the highest mountain in the world but afrwe calculating in accordance with various reading and survey it was cleared that Everest is the highest mountain in the world.

3. Lhotse

Lotse mean "South Peak" in tipetan peak.Lhotse is the 4th highest mountain in the world having 27,940 feet(8516 meter) high and its "south Peak" is lies in Tibetan. Due to the steep at the south face of mountain, climbing routes are mainly to northwest. The summit is on the order between Tibet and Nepal.

4. Makalu

Makalu is the fifth highest mountain in the world and fourth of Nepal. It is also know as "THe Great Black," . It is 8485  meter high which is 27,838ft.  It lies in the Mahalangur Himalayas which is southest part of Mount Everest. It is considered as a one of the difficult mountain to climb in the world. Makalu is an isolated peak with shaped of slided pyramid.

5. Cho Oyu

Cho Oyu is the sixth highest mountain in the world with hight of 26,905 feet  or 8,201. In the Tibetan language Cho Oyu means Turquoise Goddess." This is one of the famous and popular mountain to climb.  The quality of its route, the good conditions, and its ease of access make it comformatable to climb. It is considered as the easiest 8000 meter peak to climb.

6. Dhaulagiri

Dhaulagari, which is comonly known as "white mountain" is the 7th highest mountain in the world. It is expanded 120 km from the Kaligandaki River which is weste to the Bheri. It is 26,795 feet(8,167 meters) high. It is the first highest mountain of Nepal which borders within a single country Nepal only. It was climbed on 1960 may 13 by the expedition belongs from Swiss, Austrian, and Nepal.

7.Manaslu 

Manaslu is the highest peak in the Gorkha Districk which offers veriety of trekking option. The “Mountain of the Spirit,” Manaslu, is not one of the better-known mountains in the world, but it’s one of the most dangerous with the 4th-highest fatality rate of all the 8000-meter peaks. The height of the mountain is 26,759 feet (8,156 meters) above sea level.
Th It is located about 64 km east of Annapurna. It has many trekking route, few popular routes are 177 kilometer, skirts the Manaslu massif over the pass down to Annapurna.Salt-trading route along the Burhi Gandak River, En  route, which has 10 pieaks over 6,500 meters.

8 Annapurna

Annapurna is tenth highest mountain in the world and considered as the most dengerous mountain to climb. Its highet is 8,091 meter. Annapurna name which means she who is replete with food. So Annapurna is Refered to "Goodess of the Harvests". It has one peak over 8,000 meters and 13 peaks are over 7,000 meters. other 16 peaks are over 6000meters.

9. Gyachung Kang

Gyachung Kang is the 15th heighest peak in the world with 7,952 meters high from the sea level. It lies between Cho Oyu and mount Everest. It is considered as a highest peack below 8,000 meter in the world. And hense it is know as lowest of the eight-thousanders. It lies in the Mahalangur Himal section of the Himalaya on the border between Nepal and China.

10. Annapurna II 

Annapurna II is the 16th highest mountain in the world which is 7,937 meter high above the sea leavel. This mountain is the part of the Annapurna mountain range. It was climbed in 1960 by Nepali/British/ Indian team led by J.O.M. Roberts via the west Ridge for the first time. It is a fully independent peak

11. Himalchuli

Himalchuli is the second highest mountain in the Mansiri Himal  of 7,893 high above the sea leavel which is the part of Nepalese Himalayas.  Himchuli is 18th highest mountain in the world  whith having 3 main peaks, viz; east(7893 meter), west(7540), North(7371), It is the word made up of 2 words "himal" and "Chuli".
